Beatrice (Betty) J. Reynolds Halloran (nee: Buckley), 96, of Lakewood, formerly of Bayonne, passed away on April 13, 2014. Born in Bayonne, she resided there for much of her life before moving to Lakewood. Mrs. Halloran retired in 1988 from the City of Bayonne, Office of the City Clerk, where she was the marriage license supervisor. She was a member of the Rosary Society and 50 plus club of St. Vincent de Paul Church, as well as a member of their liturgy group and a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Bayonne Hospital.
Mrs. Halloran was predeceased by her beloved husbands, Joseph Reynolds and Arthur Halloran; and her dear sisters, Nora Schnatterly and Mary Post. She is survived by her beloved children, Sister Susanne Reynolds, S.S.J., and Michael Reynolds, M.D., and his wife, Mabel; her cherished granddaughters, Catherine and Marianna Reynolds; her dear step-children, Arthur Halloran, Jr., and his wife, Mary Jane, and June Korzewski. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
