Beatrice Robinson Barnes, 76, formerly of Summit, Mississippi, died peacefully in her home located in Inglewood, California, on September 21, 2022.  Mrs. Barnes was born on March 21, 1946, to the late James and Helen Mae Robinson.  She was the sixth child born to this loving family of seven children. 

Beatrice, also known and called by many as “BEA”, was a very meek, mild, and quiet child yet she was very explorative and intellectual in her school studies where she was an active student in many activities at Burgland High School until she graduated in 1964.  She then attended Stillman College located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; where she studied Biology and Pre-Med. This is where she met her late husband of 49 years, Billy Barnes. Whom she later married in 1970 and to this union was born a one and only child, a son, Bradford Barnes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, the late James and Helen Mae Robinson, her husband of many years, Billy Barnes, her son, Bradford “Brad” Barnes, and a bountiful amount of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

She leaves to cherish her special memories to, 6 siblings, Betty Jean Perry of Hampton, Virginia; Glenell Harness of Jacksonville, Florida; James (Jean) Robinson of Mc Comb, Mississippi; Annie Lou Robinson of Summit, Mississippi; Helen Marie Robinson of Los Angeles, California; and Margarett (Joe) Lewis of Summit, Mississippi. Beatrice also leaves to care for her fondest memories with two special aunts, Rose Crossley of Oakland, California, Eloise Sibley of Mc Comb, Mississippi, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
