Beatrice “Anne” Bullard Isbell, 77, of Brownsboro, died Tuesday at Huntsville Hospital. Ms. Isbell was a native of Blount County. She worked as a bus driver for Central School and as the Director of the Better Business Bureau’s Character Foundation prior to retirement and continued to mediate employee issues for the U. S. Postal Service.
Ms. Isbell was a member and integral part of Shiloh United Methodist Church for decades. She traveled sharing her love of gospel music with the Kent Smith Family and Terry McCay. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lillian Bullard; siblings, Willene Deaver, Faye Hogan, Kathleen Mann, H. C. Bullard, and Coy Bullard; and son, Bobby Wayne Isbell, II.
Survivors include two daughters Kimberly Isbell (Damon) Williford and Robin Isbell; special sons Chris Driver and Tim Elliott; grandchildren, Dejuan Rogers, Kelsi, Tyler, and Cody Williford; great-grandson, Brysen Rogers; sister, Effie Franklin; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family she loved dearly.
