Bea Salthouse, 79, of Brighton, passed away October 28, 2012 at her home. She was born January 8, 1933 in Denver, CO to Roy and Mildred (Newkirk) Weaver. She attended Elementary and Middle School in Henderson and graduated from Brighton High School in 1951. She married Vernon Schlitt on June 15, 1955. After Vernon passed away on May 24, 1959, Bea married Jack Salthouse on September 14, 1961 in Brighton.
Bea has lived in the Henderson area for most of her life. In her younger years she enjoyed riding horses. She worked for the telephone company for a brief period of time and also worked as a cook for Henderson Elementary School. Bea also worked for DM&H Cattle Company in Henderson, Adams County Golf Course and United Airlines.
