Basilisa Beitia of Rupert passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Rupert, Idaho. She was born in Ispaster, Vizcaya, Spain and came to the U.S. in January 1972. She worked for Joe Studer Dairy, C & Y Dairy, JR Simplot and retired in 1995.
Basilisa is survived by her daughter Karmela Beitia, son Rodrigo Beitia, Kathy Sievers, granddaughter Lacie Betia, Soraya Berry and Myles Berry, Ramireo Granado, Michael Granado, brother Juan Laca, sisters Irene Laca, Ma Angeles Laca, and Dominica Irusta . She is preceded in death by her son Juan Jose Beitia, husband Basilio Beitia, brother Bernard Laca and parents Juan Jose Laca and Jeronima Ocamica.
