Basil Lafayette Bruton, lifelong resident of Boles, Arkansas passed from this life in Waldron, Arkansas at the age of 91 years, 3 months and 26 days old.
Basil was a 32 degree mason and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was served in the Navy during WWII and in the Army during the Korean War.
Basil leaves behind to cherish his memory, one son, Ronald Bruton of Boles, Arkansas, one brother, Noyce Bruton and wife Webbie of Boles, Arkansas, two sister in laws, Dixie Trumble of Portage, Indiana and Peggy Rose and husband Dub of Boles, Arkansas and two brother in laws, Bob Trumble and wife Jo of Alma, Arkansas and Jim Trumble and wife Nan of Shady Point, Oklahoma. Basil will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including an extended family of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Basil was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris Bruton, one daughter, Saundra Bruton, one sister, Lois Holleman and husband Valton and two brothers, C.L. Bruton, and Earnest Bruton.
