WINSTED –KEYES – Barry E. Keyes, 90, died peacefully at his home on Monday, May 17, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of the late Kathryn “Kitty” Keyes for 58 years. Born September 11, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY; the son of the late Edward and Helen (Kittelsen) Keyes. Barry served with a Combat Intelligence unit in Korea during the war and endured too many years of academic and administrative nonsense at Antioch College in Ohio, an institution that still needs to be institutionalized. He worked as an Engineer for Grumman Aircraft in New York and then for several other aerospace companies for over 35 years.
