WINSTED -WANKLIN – Barbara Wanklin, 73, of 25 Lake Street, died on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 after a short illness. She was the loving wife of the late Richard S. Wanklin Sr. for 47 years. She was born August 10, 1933 in Ashley Falls, MA; the daughter of the late Frederick and Grace Caroline (Silvernale) Howe. She was a longtime employee of Lambert Kay in Winsted. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Mrs. Wanklin is survived by two sisters, Leona Howe Bonhotel of Hillsdale, NY and Iva Howe Thomas of Pauling, NY; four children, Richard Wanklin, Jr., Ronald Wanklin, Sr., Barbara Rice and Linda Perry, all of Winsted; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
