Barbara (White) Briggs, 78, formally of Middletown and South Glastonbury, died peacefully on Monday, March 9th at Arden Courts of Farmington, where she had lived while bravely battling Alzheimer’s disease. Barbara was born in Middletown, CT on November 19, 1930 to the late Doris (Jones) and Charles E. White. She earned her nursing degree at Hartford Hospital in 1950. Barbara married her high school sweetheart William F. Briggs Jr. in 1952.
