Barbara Viera Thomas, age 57, died August 8, 2008 at her residence in Palmetto, Georgia following an illness of two years.
Barbara was born September 26, 1950 in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of Frank Viera of Winder, Georgia and Marian Vitullo Viera of Miami, Florida. Up until 1999, she was a school bus driver for Fulton County- a position she had held for ten years.
Barbara is survived by her husband Kenneth Gregg Thomas to who she was married November 6, 1971 in Miami, Florida. Also surviving are her children Stephanie Buquoi and her husband Andre of Senoia, Georgia; Michelle Lindsay and her husband Mark of Palmetto. Her brothers are Steve Viera of Gay, Georgia and Rick Viera of Palm Bay, Florida. Her grand children are Ashtyn, Lily and Emma Buquoi: Kala, Noah and Katelyn Lindsay.
