SCHWARTZ, Mrs. Barbara, Of Kalamazoo. Mrs. Barbara Schwartz, age 73, of Kalamazoo, passed away in her home on Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Her strong Catholic faith sustained her through her long battle with cancer.
She was dearly loved by her husband of 54 years, James T. Schwartz, her son Jeffrey, her daughter Pamela Stuart and son-in-law Scott. Barbara is survived by her six grandchildren: Amanda, Jessica, Nathan and Elizabeth Stuart of East Grand Rapids; Amber and Anthony Schwartz of Denver, CO; Three great-grandchildren: Mekhi and Jada Schwartz and Carter DenHerder of Denver, CO and her brother, James Soboleski of Clearwater, FL.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Florence Soboleski and her brother Jerome Soboleski. She will be greatly missed by all who were privileged and blessed to have known her. Barbara will be remembered for her kindness and her loving care for her family and friends.
