Barbara R. Arrington, 87 of Emmett, Idaho passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at a local care center.
She was born to Walter and Alma Nelson Murphy in Seattle Washington. Her father passed away when she was 4 years old. Barbara was raised by her grandmother, Maria Nelson. She went to school in Emmett and graduated in 1946. She married Paul Arrington in 1951. Together they raised 4 children, Diane, Kathy, Robert and Patrick.
Barbara was a loving wife and mother. Her family was the most important thing to her. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother ever! She gave a lot of her time to her family and was very generous.
Barbara is preceded in death by her 2 sisters Eunice and Jeanette, brothers Howard and Gordon. Her father Walter Murphy and mother Alma, her grandmother Maria Nelson and numerous Aunts and Uncles, a granddaughter Erickah and a grandson Christopher.
She is survived by her husband Paul, her daughters, Diane (Alvin) Irby, Kathy Edmonds; her sons, Robert (Bekka) Arrington, and Patrick (Genevieve) Arrington, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren
