Barbara (Anderson) Prange, 81, of Newington passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Prange, Sr. She was born in Farmington, daughter of the late Albert and Agnes (Jacques) Anderson. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Newington. Barbara was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles and enjoyed time spent on her computer. She is survived by her loving children Richard Prange ,and his wife Patricia of Lovell, ME, Michael Prange ,and his fiance Mary Ann Bonczek of Newington, James Prange and his wife Lynne, of Empire, MI, Judy Kolenda ,and husband Stephen of Middletown, Thomas Prange, and his wife Gina of Newington, John Prange, and his wife Mary Lou of Ellington and Linda Banfield and her husband Brian) of Wethersfield; her grandchildren Richard Prange, Jr., Jeffery Prange, Jennifer Stowe, Nicole Vladyka, Justin Prange, Lindsay Prange, Alan Banfield, Sara Banfield, Michael Kolenda and Stephanie Kolenda; great grandchildren Anthony Vladyka, Jeffery Prange, Victoria Kolenda and Nate Stowe. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law David and Billie Anderson of Plainville and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her sisters Peggy Hein, Rosemary Borowski and Kathy Fraioli.
