HAVERHILL – Barbara (Lydon) Nolan, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family members at the High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill on October 25, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Barbara was born August 19, 1931 in the Glenlosh area of Maam Valley in the Connemara region of County Galway in Ireland to the late Patrick Lydon and Bridget (Joyce) Lydon. She was educated in the schools of the parish of Kilmilkin.
Her family owned a sheep farm and she worked on that farm up until the time that she emigrated to the U.S.
