Barbara “Bobbie” Lee Howard

Liberty – Bobbie, 78, passed away on January 19, 2016. She was born December 20, 1937 in Topeka, Kansas to Hailey Homer Howard and Bonnie Bell Smith. Bobbie enjoyed her youth in Vallejo, CA and moved to Liberty, Utah to raise her children. Bobbie married Joseph John Piccolo in Vallejo in 1954; later divorced. She married Alverine F. Lima in 1964; later divorced.
Bobbie was an inspiring swing dancer who enjoyed cooking and loved raising dogs. In addition she was a graceful swimmer and one of the first women bus driver’s at UTA. As a strong and independent woman, Bobbie raised five amazing children.
Bobbie is survived by her children; Bonnie Piccolo Castleman, Joella Maria Piccolo, Joseph J. Piccolo, John H. Piccolo and Alvaro L. Lima; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and her sister, Naomi Moore.
