Barbara K. McLaughlin Jones, 72, Pendleton, passed away March 13, 2012, at St. John’s Health System after an extended illness. She was born July 22, 1939, in Arcadia, Indiana, and resided in Pendleton all of her life. Barbara was a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church. She retired from Mingle Veterinary Clinic after more than 20 years of service.
She is survived by her husband whom she married April 24, 1959, Ronald Jones; children, Stephanie Tim Tooley of Pendleton, and Rodney Beth Jones of Wilkinson; brother, John Leann McLaughlin of Okeechobee, Florida; grandchildren, Chelsea Tooley of Pendleton and Breanna Jones of Wilkinson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orris & Marjorie Remington McLaughlin; and sister, Judith Caldwell.
