Barbara K. Harding, 93, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, April 13, at East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 4, 1921, in Lebanon, to John “Glenn” and Ethel (Kreisher) Harding. She was raised in nearby Kirklin.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a long-time companion, Nora Allen of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and John Harding.
Barbara worked for more than 45 years as a microbiologist at Elkhart General Hospital and later at the South Bend Medical Foundation.
She enjoyed spending time golfing and spending winters at her home in Texas.
