Matteson, Barbara June passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the age of 85. Barbara was born on June 6, 1931, the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Mason. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Among her hobbies, she especially enjoyed flower gardening. Barbara was married to Lowell Matteson, who preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Kloet and Paula (Tom) Oddy; two grandchildren, Tom (Debbie) Oddy and Tammy (Troy) VanTuinen; five grandchildren, Jake, Kelsey, Breanna, Brandon and Joey; one brother, Vern Mason; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Hord and two brothers, Gene Mason and Richard Mason. Barbara will also be greatly missed by her daughter Brenda’s beloved therapy pet “Miss Bailey”.
