Barbara Jean Loth, 98, Beatrice, NE died Saturday, June 03, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice. Born Barbara Jean Suttle on September 17, 1918 in Burlington Junction Missouri. Daughter of Jesse J. and Hazel E. Suttle.

Barbara graduated high school in Troy Kansas in 1935 and married William J. Hinel April 3, 1946 at Galesburg, Illinois. They had two sons; Brian J. Hinel, Prescott, AZ and Bruce J. Hinel, Wichita, KS.

She married George J. Loth in 1961 in Beatrice, Nebraska.

Barbara grew up in Nodaway County Missouri and moved to Beatrice in August 1952. She worked as a seamstress for Formfit Mfg. Co. over 27 years, starting in 1956 and retiring in 1983. She was an auxiliary member of Fraternal Order of Eagles aerie 531, American Legion post 27 and V.F.W. #1077. Barbara loved to read, sew, knit & crochet afghans (making over thirty for children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren). She also loved to bowl, and bowled in the Senior Citizens League for many years after retiring.

Survived by: Sons Brian J. Hinel & wife Ann Lindstrom of Prescott, AZ, Bruce J. Hinel & wife Rachel Hinel of Wichita, KS; Grandchildren Jesse J. (Hinel) Wick, Brian D. Hinel, and Jessica E. Hinel; Stepchildren Leslie Loth & wife Linda Loth of Lincoln, NE, Lyle Loth & wife Diane Loth of Lincoln, NE and Linda Nies & husband John Nies of Denver, CO; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband George J. Loth, parents Jesse J. and Hazel E. (McClelland) Suttle, and brother Jesse Jay Suttle.
