Barbara Jean Kilcran – Tulipani passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 5, 2021. Barbara was born on July 1, 1930 in Ridgefield, CT to the late Mary and Gilbert Peterson.
Barbara was a graduate of Ridgefield High School where she was a sports enthusiast and dedicated athlete in both basketball and softball. In her later years, Barbara was an avid bowler and enjoyed many days playing cards with family and friends. Over the course of her life she worked at Wiltech, Ridgefield High School, Viacom, Vital Works and East Ridge Middle School.
Barbara is survived by her loving children Gary Kilcran and Terry Hill of Woodbury, Ted Kilcran of Ridgefield, Rex and Lori Kilcran of Ridgefield, and Mike and Michele Kilcran of Ridgefield, her grandchildren Shannon and Dan Freda of Danbury, Kimberly Kilcran of West Hartford, Adam Kilcran of Ridgefield, and Amanda Kilcran and Chris Schutte of Bethel.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Tulipani, her sister Shirley Carboni and her son Barry Kilcran.
