Barbara Jean Brown, nee Iglehart, 72, of Shiloh, IL, born Wednesday, July 18, 1945 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mount Vernon, IL on Saturday, February 24, 2018. Barbara retired as a secretary from Scott Air Force Base. She took pride in her work and after retirement volunteered at Barnes Lung Transplant Rehabilitation. Barbara was an animal lover and had a special place in her heart for cats.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Joe and Dorothy Alonzo, nee Fresen. Surviving are three children, Charles Brown of Caseyville, IL, Michael (Kristin) Brown of Bonnie, IL, Ryan Brown of Shiloh, IL; three grandchildren, Amy Brown, Andrea Brown, Elizabeth Jean Brown; and three great-grandchildren.
