Barbara J. Furlong, 84, of Franklin, IL died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.
She was born June 17, 1927 in Jacksonville; the daughter of Harold D. and Dorothy Houston Cully. She married Edward Furlong on November 26, 1949 in Jacksonville and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2003.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Standridge (husband, Richard Sr.) of Collinsville and Kathy Stewart of Franklin; five grandchildren, Richard Standridge Jr. (wife, Dawn) of Caseyville, Christopher Standridge (wife, Alicia) of Maryville, TN, Adam Stewart of West Branch, IA, Aaron Stewart of Franklin, and Katelyn Stewart of Springfield; and seven great grandchildren, Kyle, Bryan, Shelbi, Shawna, Natalie, Edward, and Alayna.
Mrs. Furlong was a 1945 graduate of Jacksonville High School.
