Barbara J. Heck (Dilks) passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the age of 87 years. She was born in New Jersey on March 8, 1934.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Heck Martin, son-in-law Mike Martin, companion and best friend Robert Jago, sister Elizabeth “Ootsie” Guth (husband Ken), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families (known as “Aunt Bobby” to them all).
She was predeceased by her former husband, Bill Heck; six siblings, William Dilks, Joseph Dilks, Kenneth “Bucky” Dilks, Ida Jaggard (husband Jake is surviving), Florence “Flossie” Dempsey and Doris Hiller.
Barbara enjoyed travelling to New Jersey with Jeanne to see her family and going to Cripple Creek with Robert on his birthday every year. She loved taking care of the house and doing yard work. She enjoyed collecting knick knacks and if you’ve ever been to her house, you would see them EVERYWHERE!! She loved watching the Denver Broncos with Robert, and country and western music. Although she had no grandchildren, she loved her “grand dogs” Riley and Chloe very much.
Barbara will be missed by all.
