Barbara Hillier of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, January 22, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born August 1, 1962 to Horst B. Kuenne and Baerbel (Bischof) Kuenne. Barbara was 53 years, 5 months and 21 days old. Barbara was born in Muenster, West Germany. She emigrated to the United States in 1982 and became an American citizen in 1987.
Barbara was a wonderful, loving mother, wife and Christian who left an impression on anyone she met. She enjoyed riding horses, reading, hiking and teaching children’s Bible classes. “Miss Barbara” as she was known by many children, radiated with the love of Jesus. She taught many children leaving an everlasting impact. She lead by example in her kindness and genuine belief in Christ.
Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Kevin and wife Tonya. “BB” will forever remain in the heart of her very special granddaughter Kate, who she loved spending time with and playing with. Barbara is also survived by her mother, Baerbal Kuenne, one sister, Marion Kuenne and two brothers: Dirk Kuenne and Volker Kuenne all of Germany. Barbara will missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted including a host of friends, neighbors and loved ones.
Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Hillier, her father Horst Kuenne and one sister Maunela Kuenne.
