Those left to honor Barbara’s memory are her son, Michael (Gina) Stech of Branson, Missouri; 2 daughters, Mary (Ernie) Lemmert of Prairie City, Iowa and Mickie (Ed) Clements of Newton, Iowa; her 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; her sister, Betty Stech of Perry, Iowa; brother, Richard Grimm of Oklahoma; and her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Doyle Stech in 2001.
Barbara graduated from Linden High School in 1952.
She worked at Thomberts in Newton, Iowa for 30 years, retiring in 1995.
