Mrs. Barbara was born September 7, 1930 and passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 in Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Barbara Cannon was the owner of Cannon’s Grocery in Bee Bayou and Zebedee from 1960 – 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, James “John” Cannon; parents, Jules and Myrtle Gilley; great grandson, Jackson Kennedy; brothers, Jules Gilley, Jr. and Charles Truman Gilley; and sister, Lydia Mae Brunson.
Survivors include her children, James R. Cannon of Rayville, Alvin “Johnny” Cannon and wife, Mary of Rayville, Debra Stapp and husband, Calvin of Rayville, Charles “Chuck” Cannon and wife, Amy of Rayville, Vonda Cannon of Ringgold, LA; grandchildren, Tony Cannon, Jonann Cannon Milner and husband, Jeff, Jenifer Stapp Lee and husband, Sammy, Lauren Cannon, Luke Cannon, Breanna Foreman, and Noah Foreman; 10-great grandchildren and 2-great-great grandchildren; and her sister, Louise Twiner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
