Died Tuesday evening, December 29, 2015. Barbara was born December 17, 1928, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, a daughter of Simon and Rebecca (Segel) Bennett. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 12 years and was employed with Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Massachusetts for 20 years before retiring.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Murray C. Schwartz on October 20, 2010; a daughter, Carol; a brother, Warren Bennett; and a sister, Irma Mednicoff. She is survived by a daughter, Julie Evans Little of Portage; 3 sons-in-law, David Little of Portage, Thomas Evans of Kalamazoo, and Stan Fudala of Philadelphia, PA; 4 grandchildren, Victoria (Tyler) Jackson, Matthew, Adam, and Hana; and several nieces and nephews.
