Barbara Ann (Collins) Coughlin, 86, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, surrounded by family. She was the loving wife of the late Vincent Michael Coughlin for 62 years. Born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Alfred and Agnes (Wilt) Collins, Barbara graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Warren, Ohio, and the Pittsburgh Hospital School of Nursing.
Barb is survived by her five children: Michael and wife Jean, Stephen and wife Kathleen, Mary (Coughlin) Paladino and husband Mark, John Coughlin, and Katie (Coughlin) Scalzulli and husband William. In addition, Barbara is survived by her grandchildren: Patricia (Coughlin) Jarvis and her husband Christopher, Michael and Elizabeth Coughlin, Nancy and Nicole Paladino, Christine Perez and partner Christopher Martin, Katie Perez, Matthew, Mary Kate, and Caroline Scalzulli, and great-grandchild Grace Martin. Barb is also survived by her most beloved sisters, Mary Lou Healy and Julia Guarnieri, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
