Besides her husband and father, she is survived by a daughter Melissa Smith and her husband Daniel of Naugatuck, two brothers, Robert Sgroi of New York, James Sgroi of California, a grandson Aaron, several nieces and nephews and a very dear friend Loretta Prianti. She was predeceased by her mother and a brother Joseph Sgroi Jr.
