Barbara “Bobbi” Koller Muckerman and passed away peacefully on February 17, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.
Barb was born on March 13, 1917 in Minneapolis, MN to parents Dr. Herman and Marie Hibbing Koller. Barb’s grandfather was Frank Hibbing, the founder of Hibbing, MN. She is preceded in death by the love of her live, her husband Ray and her son Christopher.
She will be greatly missed by her identical twin sister, Mia Mathewson, her children Ed, Ted (Linda), Frank (Arlene), Steve (Sylvia), Larry, Judy Sigmund son, Trudy McCleary (Michael), Terry (Marie), Christine Elwick (Dave) her 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Barb’s passion was sports of any kind. She was a homemaker, even though her husband, Ray, did all the cooking for her nine children. She loved to dance and always liked people around her.
She volunteered at Boswell Hospital. When she met someone new that she liked, she would continue communication throughout her life, though her many letters.
She never forgot anyone’s birthday and sent her yearly Christmas cards faithfully. Barb was loved by everyone who knew her and her memory will be cherished by her family and the many people whose lives she touched. She was the best mom, grandma, great grandma and friend that anyone could want.
