Barbara Ann McNease, nee O’Hearn, 84, of Greenville, IL, formerly of O’Fallon, IL, born, February 9, 1934 in San Antonio, TX, passed away at Cedarhurst of Greenville in Greenville, IL on Sunday, August 12, 2018. Barbara retired as a licensed clinical social worker for Chester Mental Health Center. She was a member of St. Clair Catholic Church in O’Fallon, IL, O’Fallon Senior Citizens Club, and the National Association of Social Workers. After retirement she worked as substitute teacher at O’Fallon Township High School.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. and Cecile O’Hearn, nee Levine; in-laws, Walter C. and Cornelia McNease, nee Pearson; brother, Charles W. O’Hearn, two sons, Michael A. McNease and John C. McNease. Surviving are her husband of 67 years, W.C. McNease of Greenville, IL, formerly of O’Fallon, IL; four children, Ronald E. McNease of Alvin, TX, Diana (John Mould) McNease Swan of Carlyle, IL, Joseph D. McNease, Sr. of Conroe, TX, Timothy R. McNease of Wood River, IL; eight grandchildren, John C. (Angel) McNease, Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Justin C. (Michelle) McNease of O’Fallon, IL, Joshua D. (Catherine) Swan of West Hills, CA, Kara R. (Kurtis) Swan-Scheich of Mascoutah, IL, Jordan C. Swan of Mascoutah, IL, Georgie A. McNease of Conroe, TX, Joseph D. McNease, Jr. of Conroe, TX, Hanna M. McNease of Conroe, TX; twelve great-grandchildren, Jade, Chadwinn, Sara, Anthony, Hayden, Peyton, Jason, Paige, Gavin, Elena, Isabelle, and Levi.
