Barbara Ann (Basey) Barnes, 47, died Wednesday June 25, 2014 in Greenwood. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born May 23, 1967 to Don E. and Claudia J. (Morefield) Basey. She married Ricky Dale Barnes December 24, 2011.
Barbara had worked for Americare Hospice as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Barbara enjoyed being with her family and adoring her grandchildren, shopping, tanning, road trips, loved flowers and gardening. She was a huge Colts fan, a porcelain doll collector, and enjoyed working with her patients in hospice.
Survivor’s include her husband Ricky Barnes of Greenwood; three children, Wayne Mitchell, Jennifer McMurray both of Indianapolis, Thomas (Kristina) McMurray of Franklin, mother, Claudia Basey, Indianapolis,two step-sons, Ricky (Natalie) Barnes, of South Bend, Ronnie Barnes of Greenwood, Sisters, Paula (Lynn) Durbin of Indianapolis, Denice (Tony) Florence of Avon. Along with seven grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her father Don Basey, brother Donald Basey.
