Barbara A. Turner, 63, of Freeport passed away April 25, 2015 at FHN Memorial Hospital Freeport.
Born February 3, 1952 in Freeport she was the daughter of Nelson “Nels” J. and Viola M. (Ross) Thompson. Barb was a 1970 graduate of Freeport High School and worked for C. L. Swanson as a cashier at Micro Switch Plant 2 Cafeteria for 32 years. On March 18, 1972 she and Charles W. Turner were united in marriage.
He preceded her in death on January 22, 2014. She attended Zion Church. She is survived by her mother, Viola of Freeport; two sisters Bonnie Magee of Monroe, WI and Becky (David) Lammers of Freeport. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death were her father Nels and husband Charles.
