Barbara A. Smith, 66, of Columbia, wife of Nyle Smith Sr., died Friday May 3, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born April 18, 1936 in Hartford, the daughter of Delsie (Sage) Edwards of Columbia and the late Ralph Edwards Sr. and had lived in Columbia most of her life. Throughout her life she was a loving and devoted caregiver to her family. She was formerly employed at the Elecro-Motive Mfg. Co.
