Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Elkhart High School. She kept things running smoothly as the master scheduler for the busy Oaklawn Psychiatric Center, in South Bend, recently slowing down due to her health. She was the former office manager at Madison Center in Elkhart. Barbara was a woman of great faith and had a wonderful love for the Gospel. She lived her life as a Christian and was a member of Grace Bible Church in Elkhart. She also loved tending to her flowers and gardening. Barbara cherished her necklace engraved “Never, never, never give up” based off the famous October 1941 speech by Winston Churchill during World War 2. The necklace was a gift from her husband which she never ever took off.
