She was born in Harlingen, Texas on April 14, 1936 to Patricio Flores Castillo & Maria Alvarez Castillo whom she is preceded in death by as well as a brother, Martin Ernesto Castillo.
Bessie is survived by her loving family to cherish her wonderful memory, her aunt, Germana C. Vallejo, siblings, Josefina Garcia, Antonia Vargas, Gabriel Castillo, Ramona Alvarado, Nicolas Castillo, Eusebio Castillo, Dolores Powell, & Lucinda C. Leal, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, & friends.
