Baby Ryleigh Giizhig Aitkin, our “Perfect Precious Little Angel”.  She was born on July 28, 2017 at 9:37 a.m.  She weighed 4 lbs 13 ounces and was 18 inches long.  Ryleigh was born to Carla and Mike Aitkin.  She had two brothers and four sisters, grandmas, grandpas, aunties, uncles and many many cousins.  She was the most loved baby in the world by everyone who knew her.  Ryleigh should have had the Indian name “I’m in charge!”  She was so tiny and so sick but she was indeed in charge of her whole family.  We all held her as much as possible and she loved it!  Her and her mommy loved to watch Sponge Bob, Golden Girls, Mash and The Young and the Restless.  Ryleigh loved to keep her Daddy up all night when he was trying to get a good night sleep before work.  When she was born the Dr. said she could not see or hear.  Ryleigh proved the experts wrong, because she could hear and she could see, probably not clearly but she knew when her Mommy and Daddy came into the room and talked to her.  She sure moved her little head toward their voices and perked up.  Ryleigh was definitely in charge and was the Boss for 2 ½ months at the Aitkin home.

Ryleigh began her journey on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 10:39 a.m. in her Mommy’s arms at their home in Boy Lake.  She was in charge, she picked the day and the time.  As quietly and quickly as she came in to our lives she went quietly and way too quickly.

She is welcomed to the spirit world by her grandma; Joann Losh, grandpa’s; Robert Aitkin and Armas Yuhala, her great grandparents; Charles and Irene Losh and Clara and Donald Cress and her cousin; Kailey Steere.

Her memory will live on in her parents; Carla and Michael Aitkin of Boy River, brothers; Jared and Andrew, sisters; Hannah, Jerrica, Jalyssa and Ayla, aunties; Becky, Shelly, Lindsey, Michelle, Stephanie, Jeni and Jodi, uncles; Chuck, Dan, Jeff S., Steve, William and Jeff J., grandma’s; Karen Yuhala, LeeAnn Gorans and Bertha Hoyt, grandpa’s; Lyman Losh and Craig Gorans, many cousins, other family and special friends.
