B. Eugene Jones, 86 of Fairmont passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Pierpont Center at Fairmont, WV.
He was born November 13, 1929 in Grantsville, WV, son of the late James Andrew and Beulah Mills Jones.
Eugene was a truck driver for the Harrison County Landfill. He previously worked at Scott Coal and Black Rock Coal Company. Eugene loved to dance and was asking for his boots before he passed. He was a member of the Mannington Church of Christ.
He is survived by his companion, Alice Bunner of Rivesville, WV and her son, John that helped take care of him; one sister, Doris Jean Lewis and husband Gene, Salem; one brother, Melvin Joseph Jones and wife Roxie, Bridgeport; one step daughter, Valerie Cornelius, Burlington, WV; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Jones; one brother, Marvin James Jones and one step son, Ronnie Helmick.
