Ayden Finley Altman of LaGrange/Louisville, Kentucky passed away on December 3, 2022 at the age of 17. Ayden was a Senior at Oldham County High School. His plans after graduation were to attend welding school. Ayden will be remembered for his fun and outgoing personality, his contagious smile and his unfailing loyalty and love for others. Ayden was the best friend everyone wanted to have.
Ayden is survived by his loving parents, Melissa and Josh Thornsberry and Ron and Katy Altman; his sister Izzy Altman; maternal grandparents, Christine and Michael Toibin, Rick and Stephanie Jarrell, Warren Thornsberry and Mary Klarer; paternal grandparents, Ron and Mary Altman, Kay Altman and Tim and Tracy Dixon; uncles Trevor (Miranda) Jarrell, James (Ashley) Altman, Josh (Julie) Pritchett, Blake Pritchett, and Hunter Dixon; cousins Clayton and Cooper Jarrell, Christian Altman, and Mila and Kamille Pritchett; and many loving extended family members and friends.

Each year the family will select a number of student(s) who are following their “Welding Dreams” to receive a small amount of money to use towards their education. More information on how to apply and the number of awards and amount(s) will be determined at a later time.
