Avonell Ruth Lane, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021. She was born on February 8, 1937 in Casey County, Kentucky to Oscar and Trica (Wethington) Lane. Avonell was a homemaker, devoted mother, and a loving wife.
Avonell is survived by her son, Russell (Tonya) Lane of Indianapolis; her daughters, Vickie (Ronnie) Arthur and Beverly (Michael Arthur) Bailey, both of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Lane and daughter, Tammy Rector.
