August M. Wist, 86 of Silver Ridge Park North section of Berkeley Township, NJ passed away on Sunday May 28, 2017 at Holiday Care Center, Berkeley Township. August was born in East Orange, NJ he lived in Garwood, NJ before moving to Silver Ridge Park North in 1990. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. August was a Draftsman with Western Electric in Kearny, NJ for many years.
He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township and loved to work Bingo there. He was a member of the VFW Berkeley Township, NJ. Preceded in death by his wife Jean (Gminder) Wist. Surviving are his three daughters Deborah Lindstedt and her husband Mark of Sewell, NJ, Diane Seested and her husband Christopher of Marlboro, NJ and Donna Beitler and her husband James of Bethlehem, PA, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
