August F. Triola, 98 of Holiday City West section Berkeley Township, NJ passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018. August was born to the late James and Lena Triola in Brooklyn, New York on October 7, 1920. He was a loving father, devoted husband and friend to many. He was a member of the U.S. Army during the Normandy Invasion. He volunteered his time for his community every chance he could.
August was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus to name a few. August is predeceased by his parents, son, James Triola; step son, Dennis Leenig; daughter Leeanne Triola brother, Peter Triola; sisters, Josephine Lombardo; Frances Triola; and Ceilia Calabrese. August is survived by his wife, Anna Sullivan Triola; step son, Raymond Leenig and his wife Karen of Freehold; daughter, MaryBeth Triola of North Fort Myers, Florida; step daughter, Cheryl Puso; nephew Ralph Calabrese, his wife Virginia, and their children Frankie and Raphaela; niece Ann Morgan and her daughter Alexis; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
