Audry Jean Davis, 79, of East Peoria, IL, passed away at 5:25 pm on Friday, December 16, 2022 at OSF Healthcare Transitional Care Hospital in Peoria, IL.
She was born on February 27, 1943, in Peoria, IL, to Leo and Rehamia Jane (Hines) Chapai. She married Herman E. Davis on November 12, 1960 in Peoria.
Surviving are her husband, Herman of East Peoria; children, Deborah (John) Davis-Peschong, Tommy (Becky) Davis, and Archie Davis; grandchildren, Rachel (Tim) Wilkins, Jessica Davis, and Cory Davis; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Evan Davis, four brothers, and three sisters.
Audry worked at Germantown Hills Grade School #69 as a cook, volunteer, and lastly as the Latch Key Director until her retirement in 2008.
