Audrey Herod, 93, of Rossville passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at a local healthcare facility. She was employed by the Walker County Board of Education for 39 years of her 40 year career in public education, serving as classroom teacher, elementary school principal and system level administrator. Audrey was a 64 year member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, an honorary society for women teachers.
