Audrey M. Brown Shelton, 85, Anderson, died June 12, 2012, at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana. She was born November 30, 1926, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of her life.
Audrey previously had worked at Woods Wire Altco, Ottowa Country Club, where she met many friends. She was a member of Whetstone Christian Church. She loved to read, paint, and watch birds.
She is survived by her children, Robert Wilson and Mark Shelton Kelly; two sisters, Violet Hester and Nancy Glenn; grandchildren, Clint Wilson, Catrina Wilson, Megan Shelton, and James Shelton; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Debbie Keeley.
She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married in 1982, James Shelton who passed away on January 13, 2012; parents, Lillian & Marshall Brown; daughter, Pam Wilson Waterman; son, Elton Lee Wilson, and siblings, Bobby Brown, Helen Jean Joyce and Milo Brown.
