Audrey M. Leary, age 75, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Audrey was born in Wisconsin Rapids on August 4, 1946 to Ralph and Anna (Wiatrok) Roginski. She married Dan Broder in 1965 and they had three children: Ken, Kris and Kevin. The marriage ended in divorce. Audrey then married Donald Leary on July 11, 1983. They had a loving marriage of 38 years.
Audrey was employed at various restaurants as a waitress, the last being the Mead Inn in Wisconsin Rapids, from which she retired.
She was a member of St. Ann’s Group 8 PCCW and The Association of All Handicap Citizens.
Audrey took great pride in her family. She always spoiled her great grandkids with an amazing treat drawer and basket. She enjoyed gardening and canning.
Audrey is survived by her husband, Don; her children: Kris (Chuck) Oatman and Kevin (Jodi) Broder; stepson, Brian Leary; two grandchildren: Ashley (Matt) Struzynski and Tyler (Savannah) Broder; four great-grandchildren: Ryland, Talon, Jesslyn and Theodore (with one more expected to arrive in April); brother, Richard (Becky) Roginski; sisters: Linda (Mike) Bergman, MaryJo Gustafson, and Betty (Bill) Kann; two aunts; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; son, Ken; her two brothers and their loving wives: Gary (Marge) Roginski Sr. and Ralph (Candy) Roginski Jr.; and brother-in-law, Larry Gustafson.
Audrey’s family would like to thank everyone for all their love and support during this very difficult time.
