Former Edgar resident Audrey Harnett passed away July 8 at Mary Lanning Health Care. Audrey was born October 14, 1928, in Deweese, Nebraska, to Stanley Hlavac and Lottie Denney.
After graduating from Edgar Public School she was a teacher at a country school east of Edgar. She married Robert Harnett 12/24/1947, and to this union 4 children were born, Diane, Larry, Gary, and David.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant grandson Robert, her sister, Maxine Petersen and brother, Duane Coxbill.
She is survived by her children, Diane Hagemeyer & husband Bruce, son Larry Harnett & wife Judy, son Gary Harnett & wife Sheri, son David Harnett, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her sister-in-law, Verna Coxbill.
