Audrey Scheide, 81, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away at home on February 2, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Audrey was born on January 4, 1941 in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin to Theodore and Verna (Anderson) Spaanem. She married Lloyd Scheide on June 5, 1965 which ended in divorce. She worked over 35 years as an educator, receiving many accolades including department head and teacher-of-the-year. She also served as yearbook editor for many of her years.
She is survived by her son: Ryan (Amy) Scheide; grandchildren: Jesse (Vanessa) Scheide, Adrienne, and Gabrielle Scheide; and brother: Jay (Lou Ann) Spaanem. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank the staffs at Aspirus Riverview Hospital, Mayo (La Crosse) Hospital, and Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care she received.
