Ashley M. Mandarakas of Edgewater Park passed away on Friday at the age of 24. Ashley was a graduate of Holy Cross HS Class of 2006, where she played basketball. She excelled in her Academics, receiving Achievement Honors and finishing at the top of her class for her academics.
She continued this excellence at Burlington County College, where she just changed her major to Criminal Justice to pursue a law degree. Ashley was very bright and would help tutor in her spare time, demonstrating her gift. She was known as a very caring and non-judgmental person, who was goofy, kind hearted, and thought of others before herself. She loved her family and friends. She was an avid reader, who also enjoyed going to LBI, music, dancing, crossword puzzles and being a “glamour girl”.
Ashley is predeceased by her grandparents Pattie “Yia-Yia” and Harry Mandarakas. She is survived by her mother Denise (nee:Riley) her father Andrew Mandarakas; grandparents Michael and Nancy Riley; brother Nicholas; sister Andrianna; aunts and uncles Marie, James Mandarakas, Nancy Buckley, Mike Riley; niece Everleigh Mandarakas, several cousins and many dear friends.
