Ashby Bond Randolph, 89, of Clarksburg passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at United Hospital Center. He was born September 19, 1926; the son of the late Ashby Fitz Randolph and Ruth Content (Bond) Randolph
Ashby is survived by four sons, Gregory and Julia Randolph of Belpre, OH, Michael Randolph of Frametown, WV, Stephen and Susie Randolph of Dover, NH, Jeffrey and Donita Randolph of Clarksburg, WV; seven grandchildren, Kevin Randolph, Aaron and Jennifer Randolph, Michelle Randolph, David and Laura Randolph, Tacy and Patrick Fessenden, Jeffrey B. and Suzanne Randolph, Trevor and Kolby Randolph; eight great grandchildren, Ashley, Alan, Adam, Andrew, Claire, Alaina, Harper, Collins; two sisters, Beth Boyd of New Enterprise, PA, Mae Bottoms of Wellsville, NY.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby E. Oldaker Randolph, who preceded him in death on September 2009; a daughter-in-law, Mae Randolph; one granddaughter, Heather Randolph; one great grandchild, Brycen; two sisters, Xenia Lee Wheeler, Edna Ruth Richards; two brothers, Rex Randolph, Alois Randolph.
Ashby was a graduate of Bristol High School with the class of 1944. He attended Salem College before he entered the Army during WWII and received basic training at Camp Hood, TX.
